Ok.. now that you are ready to purchase a domain, what do you use for the name and where do you go??
Once you have picked out your niche and are ready to find a domain name, it is pretty simple.
Evaluate some domain names based off your niche. Example, if your niche is steak restaurants then you will want to include at the very least one of those keywords.
If the domain name you want is taken, keep trying different combinations until you find one you feels describes your blog and your niche.
The reason you use your niche keywords in the domain title is for several reasons.
Imagine if you type into google; the best steak restaurants. One website comes up that is called steakreviews.com, the other beststeakplaces.com and the other cowsmeat.com; which one would you rather visit?
Using a keyword in your title is also good for Search Engine Purposes. It classifies your blog and makes the big picture complete.
You can find domains AND hosting several places, but these are the 2 we use and therefore we recommend. I know there are a few other very good ones, but always do your research as there are some very bad ones. Customer service here is going to be key.
www.GoDaddy.com ($9.99 for a one year domain name and $4.29 a month for one domain hosting)
hostgator.com ($15 for a one year domain name and $7.95 a month for unlimited domain hosting) **Try using the code: Lucky or David for a discount.
Once you have your domain name purchased, and your hosting complete, then it is time to move onto installing your blog. Don’t panic!! We have videos that will walk you through this step by step.

2I use GoDaddy for all my domain purchases. I have tried a couple of other places and it’s more of a hassle than it’s worth. GoDaddy has been great and I have no complaints.
I use HostGator as well and have only had one time that my sites were done and that was only for a few minutes. I have tried other services for hosting and a few were awesome but a bit too costly so they are history.
One thing I would point out about purchasing domains. Don’t use hyphens if you don’t need to. I have a couple of domains that have a hyphen after each word and it sure is easy to click on but just try and explain it over the phone.
ebooks-with-reseller-rights.com is one and
web-site-power-promoters.com is the other and what a pain. :)
