There’s one surefire way of determining if a niche is profitable. You might have all the passion in the world for your subject. But, there may not be any money to be made in the niche. It is better to discover if your dreams of income can be realized before you begin blogging in that niche.
The fastest way to figure that out is to look around at what is being sold. If there are products in your chosen niche, it’s a pretty good bet that there is money to be made there.
Poking around on the web one day recently, I found a neat little gadget that not only suggests profitable niches…but provides you an almost instant way have products to sell. That’s the next big question which can become an obstacle after you decide on your niche. I’m new to this. I don’t have a product of my own. What can I sell?
The nichewidget provides you with a customizable banner type ad in over 80 different niches. Amazingly, for now, it is FREE to sign up and get access to them. They are in beta test mode, so they are working out the bugs. Once they have those fixed, they will begin charging to sign up for even the lowest tier. Spend 5 minutes adding a piece of code to your blog, website, or even a myspace page, and you’ll have a streaming set of niche targeted ads.
It uses their video server and their eCommerce software; they pay your commissions through Paypal. They also offer free reports through the widget and in the works are special promotions.
You can see one in action over on the right side of the page or check it out HERE.
