2I love Wordpress plugins and probably use too many.
I would say All-In-One-SEO is my favorite plug but I also have a plugin that allows me to link to my affiliate programs within any post on my site just by telling the plugin a few keyword phrase I want to use and what affiliate program I want to use them with.
It’s a pretty cool plugin because I can change an affiliate program for any given keywords in an instant. No more tracking down posts and changing them individually.
The plugin is called WP Affiliate Pro. It’s not free but it’s worth having if you do affiliate marketing.
I am going to have to give WP-Cache a try and see if my main site will load a bit faster. My other blogs seem to be okay at the moment.
I haven’t been using as many videos with my posts as I should. Maybe Easy Tube will make it quicker. Not that I am lazy but sometimes when time is a factor I leave out a video and I know how much I love watching videos over reading.
Again, thanks for the plugin links. I have three that I have loaded into new tabs and will check them out.

4Hello James!
Thanks also, for stopping by and checking us out.
I enjoyed reading your blog as well :) You have some great insight into making money online.
I loved your post on Not bitting off more than you can chew with a blog. http://www.ebooks-with-reseller-rights.com/create-a-blog/dont-bite-off-more-than-you-can-chew/
Kinda goes along with your other post about not taking on multiple blogs at once. But people who are often trying to blog for money can easily get overwhelmed, I know I did when first starting out. Setting goals and baby steps are so vital to beginning and succeeding in any business.
Thanks again for stopping by and look forward to seeing more of you here!!

5I have All-In-One SEO installed (I have for a few months now), but I really don’t seem to use it much. Any tips on how to make the most of it/what I Should be doing with it? I’ve come over from the Blogger world to WP, so I’m particularly interested in how to make the most of these “new to me” plug-ins.
Thanks,
Metroknow

6Hi Metroknow!
Welcome to the wonderful world of Wordpress. hehe.
The All in one SEO pack plugin is really TOPS! One I would never be without.
The Options page is really set already unless you want something custom. It helps to show your pages in the most optimized way to Search Engines.
When you login to write a post, directly beneath the tags box, you will see the all in one SEO pack embedded on your page as well. It consists of a title, description, and keywords.
For the Title; I just copy what we had used in the main title (always making an attempt to incllude a keyword)
The description can be a little piece from your post or it can be a summary of the article post. This is basically used to write your meta tags.
The keywords are really where you want to be specific and use as many relevant tags, keywords as possible.
You can also title your graphics, images, etc. (the alt tags) so they are picked up easier as well.
This will all help you to get your posts categorized and listed in the search engines easier as the plugin makes it easier to read for the spiders crawling and indexing your site.
You can see what I mean if you type in our url into like google. You will see the pages and post listed with certain tags and keywords to give you an idea of how it works.
Hope this helps some and congrats on the move over! I like your website as well. Has some great information and a really great niche. Best of wishes with it all and let us know how it comes.

7Thank you very much Elle - you just made a fan. :) This is exactly what I needed to understand. I’ve of course seen all of that at the bottom of the post area, but payed it little attention. Thanks for being so detailed on why this is so important!
Best to you, and I’ll definitely be doing what I can do help you folks out. You’ve got a really great tone here and some exceptionally useful information.

8One other question on this - Should I go back and insert the All in one SEO information for my published articles? Will this have any positive effect/is it worth the time?
Thank you!!!

9That is a good question…
To go back through your old posts and add the SEO information could be a good way to make sure those articles are getting the best exposure, however if you did this I would try and just do a few at a time. It might look like you are re-publishing your old content again and again which might take away some value or even get you duplicate penalty issues.
Hope that helps some there. I will dig around and see if I can find a better answer there for you. It would be good to know exactly what could/would happen.

11Thanks for the heads up on your favourite plug ins. I also like the ‘Top Commentators’ plugin which encourages viewers to comment. Also the most recent posts plugin you can see at a glance. I came across the Wordpress Automatic update plugin which I’m looking at installing.
Blog Lady elle thank you for the tips on going back through old posts after installing SEO plugin but to only do a few at a time and the reasons why.
